Pandora

One of the first iPhone apps I downloaded was Pandora, an internet radio application based on the Music Genome Project. For some reason though I never actually tried it out until just recently. I’ve never been a big fan of internet radio, mostly because I prefer listening to something I know while I’m working, so it doesn’t distract me.Pandora takes internet radio one more step by customizing your channels based on what you already like. This makes it great for discovering new music, but it’s also possible to tune it out, because the playlist is somewhat subconsciously predictable. I don’t know if that makes sense, but basically…it’s cool. Check it out.
